Here's what sucks about living in an old communist style block of flats, on the last god-damned floor.
Because of a heatwave, it's been hot today in Brașov... well, it's been hot in most of Europe. But it's evening now; it's supposed to cool off. However, living under a roof made of tar (really, the architect or building engineer must have played a prank on the people living here) means I get the benefit of feeling the heat for the entire night, because tar isn't the fastest heat conductor, but it's good at keeping it. (The top temperature in the city was officially 33°C, but that was around noon). As I'm writing this, at 21:51, the temperature went up to 31.2 already.
And I only had one friend with to keep me cool, Mr. Ciucas:
Update from hell (@1:00 AM):
Luckily, a cool morning:
Hey, nice clock! I want one just like that! :)
ReplyDeleteThe truth is that there were also some hot days in Rasnov too (for the non Brasov-savvy readers, this is a small town at about 15km from Brasov), but the temperature inside reached only a max of 27-28 C.
So I totally feel your pain :).
27-28?
ReplyDeleteMan, that sounds so cool... :-)
